Precision Medicine is the most advanced medical service that analyzes differences according to genes, environment, and lifestyles to individual patients and suggests the most effective drugs to patients. It is possible to predict the onset of disease, and can present the most effective personalized anticancer drugs to cancer patients by analyzing the genes and genomes. MBD Co., Ltd. is conducting research to evaluate the responsiveness and sensitivity of anticancer drugs and radiotherapy using tissues derived from cancer patients and to provide services to suggest the most effective drugs and treatments to patients.

Our precision medicine centers are located in each hospital and are expanding to multiple hospitals to analyze patients' tissues as soon as possible. Through collaboration with various leading hospitals in Korea, such as Seoul Asan Hospital, Samsung Seoul Hospital, and Kunyang University Hospital, we are conducting research to suggest best personalized anticancer therapy to patients.

MBD Cancer Precision Medicine

MBD is committed to provide better life and effective therapeutic method to patient by testing cancer drugs or radiation doses used in Neoadjuvant chemotherapy & Chemoradiotherapy through three-dimension drug sensitivity testing in head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, and colorectal cancer types.

MBD is conducting a precision medicine platform study to predict the responsiveness of various cancer drugs of each carcinoma using 3D cancer tissue culture to provide effective anti-cancer drugs to the patient through genome analysis and statistical interpretation of self-accumulated clinical results.

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy :

Chemotherapy before surgery. It is widely used to reduce the size of the tissue before the surgery to minimize the removal area of the tissue.

Chemoradiotherapy :

Chemotherapy is performed before or after surgery or radiation therapy for head and neck cancer, lung cancer, bladder cancer and cervical cancer. Combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy is to amplify the radiation effect through chemotherapy and to prevent metastasis.
